Featured Lessons - Learning Vocabulary
often complain there are too many words for them to learn in English! This week's
featured lessons and resources contain some different ways of helping students
learn to work with new words by using the information they already have to understand
what the words mean.
Learning to guess the meanings of words by using
information given by the words around them and the meaning of the whole sentence,
is a useful skill. Here are examples of lessons that feature this activity.
